Miss C was the first newborn I photographed a little over a year ago when I was just starting to build my photography portfolio and now look at her all grown up and ONE! I’ll admit that one year olds are a challenge because they are so active, but I never get tired of chasing them around and watching them explore. And it’s like Christmas morning for me when I come home and download the images and see what cute expressions I captured. I think she picked up nearly every rock, leaf, stick and “apple” at all of our locations. 🙂 She braved the cold and wind and looked ever so fashionable in her chic poodle dress. I think PINK is her color…because wait until you see her in the pettiskirt!!! Mom saw it at my house and knew she had to have pictures taken in it. She looks ADORABLE! Thanks so much for the faith you have had in me from the beginning. It means so much to me. I’ve really enjoyed watching your family and your beautiful girls grow!

And, I’m vowing to get caught up with blogging this week. It’s been crazy these last few weeks! 🙂

Here’s the gorgeous little Miss C…

Thanks so much for having me take your college grad portraits! That has a nice ring to it doesn’t it?!! In four weeks this brother and sister will be UTPA college graduates. Lori is taking a path that looks identical to the one I took….majoring in public relations/advertising and she’s hopefully on her way to grad school in the fall. 😉 And, I know Victor has a career in TV/film in his future because he’s very talented. And if that doesn’t work out there’s always comedy because the guy is seriously hilarious and such fun to be around! I had such a great time with you both at the session and with your mom too. 🙂

Well, enjoy your sneak peek…

Lori

Melissa, it was a pleasure shooting with you; it couldn’t have been better. We’re very pleased with the locations you chose to bring out our personalities. The sneak peak looks great & I can’t wait to see the rest! Thank you so much. 🙂

You’re welcome Lori! It’s so nice to work with gorgeous/handsome and super fun people who make my job easy. 😉

I’ve been waiting a LONG time to finally photograph Baby A. Here she is at only 7 days old. Thanks so much Melinda and Josh for letting me take her portraits. I can’t wait for our second session which will hopefully be soon! And, thank you Melinda for being such a great assistant and friend. I’m so happy that you are getting to spend time with your little one, but it’s been a lonely ride to my sessions without you… 😉 This time really goes by so quickly though, so enjoy every moment of it and of her so tiny.

I’ll be posting some holiday ordering deadlines soon for anyone wanting to place orders in time for Christmas delivery. They are FAST approaching. So, stay tuned for those…

Enjoy the peek…

Caught a hint of a smile… 🙂

This is one of my FAVES from the session!!

Thanks for your comment Laurie!

You may remember this gorgeous maternity session with Baby N’s mommy and daddy here. Well, I’d like to introduce Baby N! I know his parents have been anxiously waiting for this peek, so thank you for your patience during this busy time for me. 🙂 He is such a sweetheart and was a joy to photograph. He’s so lucky to have such wonderful parents. Thank you Andrea and Roland for giving me the opportunity to photograph your baby boy and capture those cute tiny fingers and toes! I look forward to watching him and your family grow! 🙂

I’m in LOVE with this one of him in this bowl….he was SO comfortable all wrapped up. 🙂

Jolie

Great job! I love the light and composition! I am so glad the wrapped worked out! I can make them longer in size to for parents who want to get more use out of them!

Crystal and Eli, can you believe November is already here and that your wedding is only weeks away?!!! I had such a good time with you guys during your engagement session and am so excited and humbled that you chose me to photograph your wedding. I absolutely cannot wait! You all have done an amazing job of planning everything, so I know it’s going to be such a memorable day. I’m so happy that Mr. J was able to join us for the session. He made it SO much fun! He has the most incredible smile and is just simply handsome! 🙂 From the moment I met this couple, I could tell that they were such genuinely kind people, who were so in love. I feel so blessed to get to share in your special day, so thank you for the trust you have put in me. Enjoy your peek….
