This little guy was so sweet. I’m so happy for his mommy and daddy. I know they’ve been anxiously awaiting his arrival and so have I. He is adorable! Hello All,
Just wanted to let you know that time really does fly really quickly when you have a little one…Little Benny has been having tummy problems for the past day so yesterday and last night were really rough. He is doing better this morning, but has decided that he needs some space. He doesn’t want Mama’s arms right now. The little man has decided some independence is the appropriate topper for getting over a belly ache. Mommy really hopes this is a passing phase. It would just kill me if he didn’t want to be treated like a baby anymore. Guess we’ll see. I will let you know if the cord has really been cut for good 🙂

Michelle, I really like that first photo with him in your hands–it gives a great perspective of how small a baby is. Beni will grow sooo quickly.
Enjoy every minute—photos, video and notes. It all goes too quickly.
I am sure grandma and grandpa are equally proud.
As far as burping, ours always did best when we would sit them up. I would sit them sideways on my thigh. Then, place the palm of one hand on their tummy and support the head with my thumb and 1st finger. That way baby is leaning into your hand. Then pat the back with the other. Always worked for mine–hope that helps.
Hhmmmm…maybe a little brother or sister to keep him busy???

It is hard to believe that a month has passed since the little peanut came into our lives. All the sleepness nights and diaper changes seem to meld into one another 🙂 He is absolutely amazing. It is hard not to cry everytime I look at him and witness a miracle first hand. Benny and I are so incredibly blessed.
Our little man sure has grown! He now weighs 8 lbs 10 oz! Guess all those hours of mommy feeding him are really making a difference! He is very healthy.

The gift of lullabies was a wonderful idea! I have already started playing them for him at night when we are putting him to sleep. Those Disney tunes sure do pull at the heartstrings. It is hard for me to get through them without shedding a tear. I think it’s an amazing idea to put these songs in their sleepy time plan so that later they will recognize them as nap or bedtime. Thanks for the advice.

Our child is brilliant! He actually rolled himself over the other night. I put him on his belly and he rolled over all by himself! I thought is was a fluke until he did it three more times. Benny actually caught it on tape! Amazing!
